Welcome!

An interview with Ms. Megaphone...
Here is a detailed description of the first Ms. Megaphone run:
Sat, 2 Sep 2000
Well - we did it!!! We got a few of our messages to them. We made three drive-bys with a bullhorn.

At 6:35 pm, I yelled out:
Hello Houseguests!
George: Happy Anniversary! Stop begging in the Red Room.
Fight Big Brother - the editing sucks!
We love you guys!

While I was shouting my message, someone from that side (of the Los Angeles River) screamed out, “GO HOME!” I think it was a CBS employee. I couldn't hear the HG's at all. There was lots of noise in the area. I screamed back, “No way!” Then, “Houseguests, we love you!”

We took off after that. I felt pretty embarrassed screaming in public like that! <lol>

At 7:03 we went back and my hubby took a turn at the bullhorn. He shouted:
Hello Houseguests!
All the cameras are on the internet.
People on the internet see everything.
The Red Room conversations are not private.
Jamie, the internet viewers can see you scheming.

Then we took off again before anyone came around.

At 7:20, we went for our final run. It was very quiet in the area - the wind had stopped blowing and there were no planes going overhead. We were hoping that we could be heard better. I was too embarrassed to yell again, so my hubby did it again.

Hello again Houseguests!
The airplanes were sent by internet people.
The pool is a lap pool - look for the controls.
Web watchers see all.
Don't trust editing.
You're worth more as a group against Big Brother.
If you walk out together, you will be famous!
Gotta go!
BYE!

Q: Why on earth did you do that?
A: I was quite angry that CBS/BB edited the second roast to make it appear as if the HGs themselves had come up with those horrible "jokes." (The first roast was bad enough, but come on!) So when George and Britt talked in the garden about walking out together, I was in total agreement with them.
