Here is a detailed description of the fifth Ms. Megaphone run: |
| Thursday, 29 Sep 2000
Jeff from Media
Jammers was in town, so we had a get-together at the House of Pancakes.
It was fun to meet people so interested in talking about the BB show!
Then we took off to cause a little trouble with my megaphone. We were ready to be chased this time (based on previous trips, we expected it), so Jeff, Amy (the imposter megaphone lady), Shawn (her partner-in-crime), Eric (*my* partner-in-crime!), the megaphone and I rallied near the area to coordinate our plan of attack. The plan was for me to start yelling, and when the guard started his car, Amy and Shawn's car would stall him at the corner while I ran to hide in the dark. As soon as he rounded the building, Eric was supposed to drive off, leading the guard away. Then I could holler some more while the guard was busy. Jeff would round the corner and pick me up in a different car, and we'd all get away. So there we were all ready for an exciting and dangerous <snicker> megaphone run and they DIDN'T CHASE US! Can you believe that?! I was pretty surprised. We had a great plan too to make a monkey out of that guard....The others were a little dissappointed that the guard didn't give chase, but I was okay with it. I've had enough of being chased! <LOL> Anyway, here is what I yelled: Hello Houseguests -
Ms. Megaphone is back!
I could hear the houseguests yelling back and shouting "Woohoo!" That was pretty neat! Then the BB producers started yelling at me. One of them screamed, "Go home, b*tch!" I hollered back, "NO!" and yelled to the HGs again. The producers yelled something back, and I shouted back that they were just jealous because I made things more interesting than they did. We left after that! Since they didn't chase us, we sent in Amy
and Shawn to do some megaphoning too.
We met up again for a post-rally conversation, and called it a night. All-in-all a nice goodbye to our resident hamsters. Thanks for the memories, houseguests! |
